摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver suppressing or reducing degradation of the reception quality due to spurious radiation caused in a digital tuner side in the case of receiving analog TV broadcasting. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver includes a digital tuner 4 and an analog tuner 7 respectively receiving terrestrial digital TV broadcasting and terrestrial analog TV broadcasting, and a LUT 17 of a CPU 11 stores information of spurious components caused in a digital processing system of a terrestrial digital demodulation/correction section 14 and causing affect on a video image of a received terrestrial analog TV broadcast program. When the broadcast receiver is set to a state of receiving a terrestrial analog TV broadcast program, the CPU 11 references the information of the LUT 17 to determine whether the video image of the analog broadcast is affected by the spurious components, and the CPU 11 carries out stopping of operations of the terrestrial digital demodulation/correction section 14 or like processing so as to carry out suppression or like processing against degradation of the reception quality as its control.
