A pyrazole compound of formula (a): wherein R¹ represents C1-C4 alkyl or trifluoromethyl, R² represents C1-C4 alkyl, R³ represents hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; R⁴ represents halogen and so on, m represents 0 to 4 integer; R⁵ represents halogen and so on, n represents 0 to 4 integer; R⁶ and R⁷ are same or different and represents hydrogen, halogen or methyl; X represents oxygen or R⁸O-N; R⁸ represents hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl and the like; has an excellent controlling activity against noxious arthropods.
