PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity carrying-out device for an automatic vending machine, stabilizing carrying-out operation of a commodity by supporting the gravity center of a commodity even if the commodity has different size to avoid a situation wherein an attitude of the commodity is collapsed. SOLUTION: A detection piece 11 is disposed inside an area of a width H2 that is a minimum width of a commodity passage R, in a nearly center of a width H1 that is a maximum width of the commodity passage R, and an extension piece 11c further extending into the area (the left end) of the width H2 that is the minimum width of the commodity passage R is integrally provided. Accordingly, when setting a width of the commodity passage R to the width H1 that is the maximum width wherein a comparatively large commodity G1 can be stored, or even when setting the width of the commodity passage R to the width H2 that is the minimum width wherein a comparatively small commodity G2 can be stored, the detection piece 11 supports the gravity center of any of the commodities G1, G2. As a result, because the gravity center of the commodity G (G1 or G2) passing through a position of the detection piece 11 is supported by the detection piece 11, the situation wherein the attitude of the commodity G is collapsed is avoided to stabilize the carrying-out operation of the commodity G.
