PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding a disk substrate capable of molding a disk substrate having an area having no information at low cost and forming an optical disk free from causing a laminating defect. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: a first metal mold 61 for molding a disk substrate 42 having an information area 41 provided with a stamper 62 for molding the information area 41 and an inner peripheral stamper presser 64 holding an inner peripheral part of the stamper 62; and a second metal mold 12 for molding a disk substrate 44 having the area 43 having no information provided with a mirror surface plate 22 forming the area 43 having no information and an annular protrusion 33 provided at an inner side part of a part 26 of the mirror surface plate 22 where the area 43 having no information is to be formed or at a member 35 on the inner side of the mirror surface plate 22. The position of the outer peripheral end 66 of a guard 65 of the inner peripheral stamper presser 64 of the first metal mold 61 and the position of outer peripheral end 39 of the annular protrusion 33 of the second metal mold 12 are different from each other in a radial direction.
