PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of cleaning a long and narrow material to be cleaned while longitudinally transferring it in a direction along a rotary shaft of a cleaning brush and uniformly cleaning independently of the thickness and length of the material to be cleaned. SOLUTION: The cleaning device has rotary shafts 13a, 13b extending toward a cleaned material discharge opening 6 from a material-to-be-cleaned material charge opening 4, and is provided with a first cleaning brush 8a and a second cleaning bush 8b rotating while long and the narrow material to be cleaned 2 being put on between the rotary shafts 13a, 13b so that the narrow material to be cleaned 2 extend along the rotary shafts 13a, 13b, a transferring brush 28 giving the material to be cleaned 2 transferring action in a direction toward the cleaned material discharge opening 6 by rotatably contacting the material to be cleaned 2 on the brushes 8a, 8b, and a cleaning solution supply means 12 making the material to be cleaned 2 on the cleaning brushes 8a, 8b into contact with a cleaning solution W.
