<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment ink for inkjet recording excellent in nozzle protectability from clogging, in dispersion stability while keeping such performance as preservation stability, high quality of a recorded picture etc., and in redispersibility to ensure a stable discharge even after many hours continuous operation or after many hours shutdown of operations, and to provide an aqueous pigment dispersion as a raw material, and a method for inkjet recording and for textile printing using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous pigment dispersion comprises water, a pigment, and a polymer dispersant of 30-100 wt% to the pigment, the polymer dispersant is obtained by neutralizing a styrene-(meth)acrylic acid-based copolymer, whose acid value is 160-300 mg KOH/g and weight average molecular weight is 8,000-20,000, by an alkali metal hydroxide, and the ink for inkjet recording uses the aqueous pigment dispersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
