PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environment safe to human and objects by adsorbing and removing various pollutant gases such as fumigation gas remaining after fumigation treatment, volatile organic compounds (VOC), or atmospheric pollutant gases, safety controlling after fumigation of a refrigerator, adsorbing and removing VOC or atmospheric pollutant gases to be generated from building materials of new houses or after reforming. SOLUTION: The pollutant gas removing paper is four-layer combined paper obtained by making combined paper of mixed paper supporting hydrophobic gas-adsorbing powder and mixed paper supporting hydrophilic gas adsorbing powder and forming tissue paper consisting essentially of papermaking fiber on the face side and the back side of the combined paper or five-layer combined paper made by forming mixed paper supporting hydrophobic gas adsorbing powder on one side of tissue paper and mixed paper supporting hydrophilic gas adsorbing powder on the other side of the tissue paper to give three-layer combined paper and forming tissue paper consisting essentially of papermaking fiber on both sides of the combination paper.
