PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition containing a phthalocyanine pigment which can form a coating film excellent in frequency response characteristics, in particular having a low dielectric dissipation factor variation value, and therefore hardly influential to electrical properties. SOLUTION: The coloring composition comprises a pigment support composed of a transparent resin, its precursor and a mixture thereof; a halogenated phthalocyanine pigment treated with a higher fatty acid, preferably oleic acid; and optionally a coloring matter derivative having a basic group or a coloring matter derivative having an acidic group, or a salt thereof.
