Device for purifying tap water for a shower comprising a filter (6) of which the inlet side is in operative connection with a first connection point of the device and of which the outlet side is in operative connection with a second connection point of the device, wherein the first connection point is suitable for connection to a supply- line (13) for tap water and wherein the second connection point is suitable for connection to an exit for filtered water to a shower (5), wherein the device is furthermore provided with a branch line (18) situated near the inlet side and/or near the outlet side of the filter for flushing and/or thermal cleansing of the filter, wherein the device is furthermore provided with a control unit (100) for flushing and/or thermal cleansing of the filter according to a pre-set program, and with signalling means for giving a visual signal that is indicative for a stage of the program carried out. |
