PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage an application that operates on a different process, using the same method as a method of managing a software module of a scalable application. SOLUTION: The software module has added thereto an attribute that indicates that it is a software module to be started on a different process. When the software module is started, determination is made as to whether or not the software module has the attribute (S12), and if determined to have the attribute, a different process is generated. Further, determination is made as to whether or not an attribute for a coordinating process has been set (S13), and if the attribute is determined to have been set a communication path for coordination is constructed and the software module is operated on the generated process (S14); if not, the software module is directly operated on the generated process (S15).
