PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device for a two cycle engine effectively improving combustion and simultaneously improving cooling performance or the like. SOLUTION: Two ignition plugs 17A, 1B are arranged in front and rear along a vehicle traveling direction in parallel in one cylinder. One ignition plug 17A is provided on a center part of a combustion chamber 43 formed in a cylinder head 13 and another ignition plug 17b is provided in a scavenging port 23 side opposing an exhaust port 24a formed in an cylinder block 13. A guide rib regulating flow of cooling water to make cooling water flow from the exhaust port 24a side to the scavenging port 23 side is provided in a cooling water jacket 37 formed in the cylinder head 14.
