PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can prevent the vibration of a caterpillar from being transmitted from a translator present in an inkjet head to the head, and causing a impact deviation when the caterpillar with a loop tube stored therein moves and generates the vibration along with travelling of a carriage. SOLUTION: At least one spring metal member or a compression spring is put in fastening between the translator present in the head and the caterpillar with the loop tube stored, thereby forming a constitution of absorbing the vibration of the caterpillar.
