PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side bent conveyor chain module capable of distributing a chain tension crossing a belt module in the widthwise direction. SOLUTION: This side bent conveyor chain capable of distributing the chain tension crossing the belt module in the widthwise direction comprises a first module member and a second module member. The first module member comprises a first link end part extending in the advancing direction of the conveyor and an arc-shaped first finger part extending in the approximately reverse direction of the advancing direction of the conveyor. The second module member is pivotally connected to the first module member around the vertical axis of the module. The second module member comprises a plurality of second link end parts extending in the approximately reverse direction of the advancing direction of the conveyor and a plurality of arc-shaped second finger parts extending in the approximately advancing direction of the conveyor engaged with the first finger part.
