The stepper includes a main body (1) comprising a board (10) and a foot support (20). The board can be pivoted in all directions. A resistance device (30) is provided between the board and the foot support, and has multiple resistance generators for providing a suitable resistance for the stepping force, in longitudinal and cross-wise directions. An independent claim is included for a further stepper.
