SUPERABRASIVE GRAIN GRINDING WHEEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superabrasive grain vitrified grinding wheel capable of preventing separation at an interface part even if an abrasive grain layer and a base layer composing a grinding wheel chip is composed of two layers made of different kinds of materials, or an impact load is applied in grinding. SOLUTION: In the grinding wheel where the grinding wheel chips composed of the abrasive grain 12 containing superabrasive grains and the base layer 13 not containing the super abrasive grains are adhered to a core, adhesion between the adhesive grain layer 12 and the base layer 13 is improved and the strength of the interface part is enhanced by forming ruggedness 43 on the interface part between the superabrasive grain 12 and the base layer 13.
