<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing bush installation structure using a common vibration absorbing bush for a vehicle or a partner member, if different in type or shape, to produce force of sufficiently pressing and fixing the vibration absorbing bush into a cylindrical holding portion of the partner member without causing the dislocation in the axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration absorbing bush installation structure comprises the vibration absorbing bush 14 having an outer cylinder fitting 16 with a collar portion 32 and an inner cylinder fitting 18 and a rubber elastic body 20 and pressed into the cylindrical holding portion 34 of a suspension arm 10 in the axial direction and assembled and fixed thereto into a fitted condition. A metal spacer ring band 42 is pressed into the outer cylinder fitting 16 to cover an axial gap between the collar portion 32 and the end face of the cylindrical holding portion 34. The spacer ring band 42 has partially a protruded portion 44 protruded to the inner periphery side, where it is pressed and fixed into the outer cylinder fitting 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
