PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame combustion burner having high heat efficiency and capable of implementing cooking by flame, and to provide a heating cooker using the flame combustion burner such as a rice cooker. SOLUTION: This flame combustion burner comprises one or a plurality of burner plates having through pores sufficiently large to allow a combustion gas mixture to be diffused and passed, a burner plate case forming a space for supplying the combustion gas mixture on a rear face of the burner plate, a combustion gas mixture supply device for supplying the combustion gas mixture into the burner plate case, and secondary air openings opened at a position near a surface of the burner plates. The heating cooker is provided with the flame combustion burner on a position opposite to a bottom face of a cooking container when the cooking container is loaded on a prescribed position, to solve problems.
