<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitter having surface light emission characteristic with excellent uniformity with low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: In this surface light-emitter using a plurality of light emitting diode elements as a light source, all contact surfaces of members such as the light emitting diode elements constituting the surface light-emitter, a light guide plate, a reflecting plate and a light-scattering board are bonded and integrated while an air space is not interposed.
