<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for a CATV system wherein general broadcast programs including high quality broadcast programs are viewed by utilizing a tuner built in a television receiver and a terminal unit is limited to viewing of independent broadcast programs so as to reduce the cost of the terminal unit. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal is provided with: the television receiver TV capable of viewing the general broadcast programs; the terminal unit 10 for selecting the independent broadcast programs, converting the programs into AV signals S and outputting the AV signals S to a first external input terminal of the television receiver TV; and a remote controller type operation device 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
