Assembly for generating and recording sound, comprising an electromagnetic transducer ( 1 ) for transforming electrical energy into acoustical energy, wherein the assembly comprises at least one microphone ( 2 ), wherein at least part of said microphone ( 2 ) is located within said transducer ( 1 ). The invention further provides an apparatus for generating and recording sound, for instance a loudspeaker system, comprising at least one such assembly. Besides, the invention provides the use of at least one such assembly, as well as a transducer ( 1 ).
