PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion/contraction guide structure smoothly allowing relative displacement of each skeleton and having simple construction. SOLUTION: The expansion/contraction guide device 1 has a cover body 5 mounted between two adjacent skeletons 3a, 3b separated by a gap 4. The cover body 5 has one end 8 fitted to the first skeleton 3a and the other end 53 movably supported by the second skeleton 3b. A first support surface 73 for movably supporting a cover body 5, a guide surface 62 upwardly inclined with separating from the first skeleton 3a, a second support surface 75 for supporting a first auxiliary cover member 6 formed to protrude in the direction of separating from the cover body 5 relative to the first skeleton 3a, a rising surface 91 and a floor surface 65 are formed in the second skeleton 3b. The distance L1 between a tip end 26 of a first auxiliary cover member 6 and a rising surface 91 is not less than the distance L2 between a surface 60 to be guided and the first support surface 73.
