The unit has a magnetic motor to drive a power generator and including a rotor (14) movable relative to a stator (15). The stator and rotor have electromagnets (23) and permanent magnets (19), respectively, whose oppositional oriented magnetic fields are directed to each other in such a way that a compulsory repulsion and a conversion in a rotation of the rotor take place. The electromagnets are arranged diagonal to the rotor.
