The case for files has a carrying handle (1) in the middle on the outer side, and two eyes (2) above and below the carrying handle and to which is attached a carrying strap. The width of the case in the opened out state is at least 62 cm and a maximum of 73 cm, and the height at least 33 cm and a maximum of 36 cm. Two flaps are attached on the inner side of the case for the accommodating and fixing of the file cover. On the outer sides (4) or inner sides fixtures are provided for pens and other objects such as visiting cards.
