<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform enhancement of security and load distribution when layout-print data described by a structured description language such as XML. <P>SOLUTION: This layout printing method has steps: for analyzing the print data described by the structured description language, and performing user authentication when logging in a layout server; for allowing a user to select whether to select another layout server or to stop a print job when cannot log on to the layout server because a user authentication error occurs; and for extracting only a layout file imparted with access authority when succeeding in user authentication, displaying it on equipment to which a user sends a print instruction, and making the user select the layout file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
