PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent access to any harmful site due to operating error and to prevent minors from accessing harmful sites. SOLUTION: A mail terminal includes a personal information determining means 306 for determining whether the owner of the mail terminal is a minor according to his or her birth of date registered in a personal information recording part 313 for storing the owners' personal information; an ID number registering means 305 for registering an ID number when the owner is determined to be an adult; a harmful word information recording part 310 for recording information that specifies harmful mail; a harmful information detecting means 309 for determining whether or not harmful information is contained in the text or the mail title of a return mail to the mail received; a display means 303 for displaying a warning message indicating that the return mail is determined to contain harmful information; an input means 302 for requesting the input of an ID number and for inputting the ID number; and a communication means 301 for sending the return mail if the ID number input matches the ID number registered.
