PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly generate a crack and a damage on an impact absorber itself and to certainly absorb impact force. SOLUTION: In the impact absorber clamped between a material to be impacted possibly receiving the impact and an opposed material arranged so as to clamp the material to be impacted and a space, a frame body having a hollow part is provided by blow-molding thermoplastic resin. A recession part projected into the hollow part is projected from an opposed position to a first surface and a second surface opposed to each other so as to clamp the hollow part and having at least a part abutted on the material to be impacted and the opposed material and a required clearance is provided between the projected end surfaces of the recession parts or/and the recession part projected into the hollow part from any one surface to the other surface of the first surface and the second surface.
