ASPHALT MIXTURE HEATING AND KNEADING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt mixture heating and kneading machine capable of generating asphalt mixtures of satisfactory quality while suppressing degradation at heating and operating with low noise. SOLUTION: The asphalt mixture heating and kneading machine is provided with a kneading chamber 1 in which asphalt mixtures are inserted; a heating mechanism 2 for supplying heated air into the kneading chamber 1; a screw member 3 rotatably supported in the kneading chamber 1 for kneading the asphalt mixtures by rotation; and a driving mechanism 4 for rotating and driving the screw member 3. Heating temperature is prevented from becoming unnecessarily higher than in the case of directly blowing flames of a burner and effective components of the asphalt mixtures from evaporating and degrading. Since the asphalt mixtures are kneaded with the screw member 3 rotating in the kneading chamber 1, it is possible to operate with lower noise than in the case of rotating a whole heating container.
