<p>The method involves operating an air conditioning system in an operating mode based on base reference parameters and providing possibilities for change of operation and/or reference values by the system. An adapted reference parameter for establishing the operating mode is automatically generated depending on changing of the operating and/or reference values. The changes of the operating and/or reference values are evaluated.
