<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine that the entire data of a band have been received in the case of compressing a raster image in a band unit about the image and storing the compressed image data in a memory. <P>SOLUTION: When compressed raster image of a corresponding band is missing (S506) before the number of packets to be stored in the memory reaches Np, empty packets are stored in the memory until the number of packets reaches Np (S521 to 524) to thereby uniform the number of packets of compressed image data for one band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
