<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write-once type optical recording medium, with which favorable recording characteristics spreading from slow-speed recording to high-speed recording can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium is equipped with a recording layer including organic coloring matters at least represented by general formulae (1) and (2), in formula (1), R1 represents a 1-4C alkyl group, R2 and R3 respectively represent a 1-4C alkyl group, a benzyl group or a group forming a 3-6 membered ring by combination, Y1 and Y2 represent respectively and independently an organic group, X represents ClO<SB>4</SB>, BF<SB>4</SB>, PF<SB>6</SB>or SbF<SB>6</SB>, while, in formula (2), R1 and R4 each represent a 1-4C alkyl group, R2 and R3 represent respectively a 1-4C alkyl group, a benzyl group or a group forming a 3-6 membered ring by combination, Y1 and Y2 represent respectively and independently an organic group, X represents ClO<SB>4</SB>, BF<SB>4</SB>, PF<SB>6</SB>or SbF<SB>6</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
