PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lectin for determining blood type and a solvent for determining blood type capable of accurately and rapidly determining the blood type of a bloodstain and blood using an H-lectin-resistant solvent for determining blood type. SOLUTION: The lectin for determining blood type is used for the determination of blood type and a dissociation test of the bloodstain, is extracted from a seed of bitter gourd, and has molecular weight of the range of 100,000-170,000.
