PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive bearing arrangement for a wheel equipped with a rotation speed detection device, the assembling work of which is simplified without severely regulating the dimensional precision of component parts. SOLUTION: In the bearing arrangement for a wheel equipped with a rotation speed detection means in which a cover 17 is mounted on an outer member 10 and a rotation speed sensor 18 is secured to the cover 17, the cover 17 is formed of steel plate with corrosion resistance. The cover 17 includes a fitting portion 17a which is slightly press-fitted in the inner-diameter portion at an end of the outer member 10 or which is fitted therein via a predetermined fitting clearance, and a bottom portion 17d arranged continuously with the fitting portion 17a. A mounting hole 20 is formed in the bottom portion 17d and the rotation speed sensor 18 is secured therein. An adhesive 24 is filled in the fitting portion between the cover 17 and the outer member 10 so as to fix the cover 17 to the outer member 10. Therefore, even when the dimensional precision of the cover 17 and the outer member 10 are severely regulated, it is possible to prevent the outer diameter 10d at the end of the outer member 10 from being increased by the fixation of the cover 17.
