In a level forming machine with individual thread control (Jacquard technique), having a fixed guiding-locking element (25) and integrated actors for (un)coupling the fabric strips on and from the fixed element, movement of the warp threads (WT's) (31, 32) in the high level (gathering position) is carried out with lifting spars (16, 30) which press all of the WT's into the high level (HL) for each weaving cycle (weft insertion). In the HP the locking device couples and retains the fabric strips (FS's) (20) to remain in the HL, and the FS's (19) to change places into the low level (LL) are (or remain) uncoupled, so that the non-coupled FS's (together with the appropriate WT's) can move downwards into the LL on lowering the lifting spars, these downward movements being effected or supported by springs (17, 18).
|
