The focussing device for fixing the position of a lens has an inner cylinder (104) movable in an outer cylinder (102), and a lens holder (106) fitted in the inner cylinder by a screw thread (108) in such a way that the lens is adjustable along the common axis of the cylinders by rotation of the screw thread. A tilting connection (116) is fastened to that end of the outer cylinder which lies opposite the inner cylinder and the lens holder. The tilting connection has a connecting capability for a camera with the plane of connection tiltable in relation to the common axis.
