The apparatus has an encoder encoding a data symbol sequence in a preset encoding method, and outputting two code symbol sequences. A controller (330) enables transmission of the code sequences through two antenna groups (333, 343, 353, 363) if the data sequence is initially transmitted. The controller enables transmission of the code sequences through the groups (353, 363, 333, 343) if the data sequence is retransmitted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a data transmitting method in a mobile communication system; (b) a data receiving apparatus in a mobile communication system; and (c) a receiving method in a mobile communication system. |
