<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of improving credibility as to whether or not the transfer of the steering lock device to an unlock state or a lock state is completed. <P>SOLUTION: This steering lock device 1 makes steering impossible by fitting a lock bar 30 to a steering shaft 20 by driving force of a motor 10. The steering lock device 1 is provided with a steering lock ECU 40. A microcomputer of the steering lock ECU 40 performs an unlock operation control for transferring the steering lock device 1 from the lock state to the unlock state. The microcomputer recognizes that the transfer to the unlock state is completed when an absolute value of a difference of required time accompanied by the unlock operation control this time in relation to past required time is less than reference time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
