A building framework is disclosed which comprises studs 12 and 14. The studs 12 and 14 are coupled together by separate bracing elements 16 and 17. The studs 12 and 14 and bracing elements 16 and 17 form a bracing unit 10. The bracing unit 10 is provided between a top plate 51 and bottom plate 52. The bracing elements 16 and 17 extend substantially all of the way from the top plate 51 to the bottom plate 52.
