<p>The foot comprises a support to be brought against the fabric presser bar; and a sole, articulated to the support, with a shoe each side of the needle hole. One shoe is an elastic blade which enables it to stay at a different level to the other shoe; a guide blade, also jointed to the support, is spring-loaded against the workpieces between the 2 shoes. The guide blade's articulation to the support is via an intermediate stirrup whose position on the hinge axis can be controlled by a screw and nut, to control the blade's transverse position relative to the shoes and/or relative to the needle.</p> |
