PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional three dimensional map image is hard to observe and recognize in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: This movement display consists of a map memory storing three dimensional wide area map images including images of the facilities and sceneries with their map coordinates, a map display part which can partly display the above three dimensional wide area map images, a map display circuit which reads the part of the above map images around the map coordinates desired by the user to display on the above map display, a map image rotation means to rotate the above map image within the above map display to show the desired side of the desired street at the center of the screen when the user operates, and a means to scroll the displayed map images vertically and horizontally when the user operates.
