PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an increase of ESR with time progress in an electrolytic capacitor using a conductive separator. SOLUTION: In the electrolytic capacitor including in a case a capacitive element formed by winding a pair of electrodes through a conductive separator (E) 4 on a front surface of which a conductive polymer layer (F) containing dopant agent (H) is formed and by impregnating between a pair of the electrodes with electrolyte for the electrolytic capacitor, there are used an acid component (D) which is an electrolytic component contained in the electrolyte for the electrolytic capacitor, and the electrolyte or the like for the electrolytic capacitor in which the acid component (D) is excess in a mole ratio with a base component (C).
