<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of current emulsifiers for foods, including synthetic additives e.g. glycerol fatty acid esters, derivatives of the glycerol esters and sucrose fatty acid esters, and natural additives, e.g. lecithin, and emulsifiers for foods and drinks having high emulsifying action, e.g. the natural product originated gum arabic, soy bean polysaccharide and proteins, that such a natural product originated emulsifiers are commonly inferior to synthetic additive emulsifiers in emulsifying action and also have problems associated with the flavor, resulting in common use of synthetic additives in foods and drinks, in order to provide natural product originated emulsifiers having high emulsifying action and foods and drinks obtained with the emulsifiers. <P>SOLUTION: An emulsifier composition contains the extract of sesame.
