PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor mechanism which prevents a decrease of a transfer precision of a printing medium. SOLUTION: First grooves 21d and 22d of a ring shape surrounding rotary shafts of belt rollers 21 and 22 are formed in peripheral faces of the belt rollers 21 and 22, each one groove at each side of a width direction center position of the belt rollers 21 and 22. One second groove 24d along a transfer direction is formed at each side of a width direction center position of a receptacle 24 at an upper face of the plate-like receptacle 24 disposed adjoining and opposed to an inner peripheral face of an endless conveyor belt 23 stretched over the belt rollers 21 and 22. All of the grooves 21d, 22d and 24d are located on the same straight line. First ink absorber and second ink absorber 31, 32 and 34 capable of absorbing ink in each groove 21d, 22d, 24d are fixed in each groove 21d, 22d, 24d. Moreover, protrusions are formed at positions opposed to the grooves 21d, 22d, 24d at the inner peripheral face of the conveyor belt 23, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
