PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector projection system with a network function which does not require resolution conversion means on a projector side, regardless of difference between the number of resolutions of image data transferred from an image signal device and that of a display panel incorporated in the projector. SOLUTION: The projector projection system comprises a communication means P21 for informing an image signal device 1 of a resolution which a display panel of a projector 2 has, an image acquisition means 11 for acquiring arbitrary image data displayed on a display element which an image display device has, and a resolution conversion means A13 for converting a resolution of the image data acquired by the image acquisition means 11 to a prescribed resolution, on the basis of resolution information informed from the communication means P21.
