摘要 <p>Embossing tools(6,7;10,11) into which plastic is injected are mounted in the daylights between a central platen(3) and both a fixed platen(1) on one side and a moving platen(2) on the other side. An additional force applied between the central plate and one of the other platens combines with the clamping force applied to the moving platen to determine the size of the embossing gap in both embossing tools. The additional force can be produced by the injection of melt into one of the embossing tools(6,7;10,11). When the maximum width of the first embossing gap is reached and the second cavity is completely filled the additional force is applied and the second embossing gap simultaneously opened. Additionally controlable spacers(4) may be positioned between the central platen(3) and one of the other platens(1,2).</p>
