A sound-absorbing body has a frame made of rods and walls arranged as panels formed by side walls, sound-impermeable inner and outer sheets, the cavity between those is filled with sound-absorbing material, and between the sheet and material film is placed. The side wall is formed between the fold lines of the inner sheet, this is connected to the outer sheet, for instance, by means of groove. Theinner sound-impermeable sheet of the panel is made with openings the area of which is not less than 0.25 of the area of the sheet. The rods may be arranged as tubes in particular with rectangular cross-section.
