PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit effectively prevented from cracking when a shaft end is caulked and when the hub is used. SOLUTION: The hub unit H1 includes a hub shaft 2, an antifriction bearing (multi-row tapered roller bearing) 3, and a coupler ring 4. A chamfered portion 44 is formed at an inner peripheral edge on the other end side in the axial direction of a spline protrusion 41b of an inner-peripheral side spline 41 of the coupler ring 4.
