PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit (high-frequency IC) for communication by a direct up-conversion system, capable of suppressing current consumption and reducing the distortions of transmission signals by fully removing the higher harmonics. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor integrated circuit (high-frequency IC) for the communication by the direct up-conversion system, a notch filter (NTF) for blocking at least a tertiary harmonic of a local signal is provided at a subsequent stage of a frequency conversion circuit (mixer) for up-converting the transmission signals.
