PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner in which specific characteristics of output signal can be sustained in best state for any channel and the settling time is shortened at the time of switching the channel. SOLUTION: The tuner comprises local oscillation circuits 8U and 8V, band-pass filters 3U, 5U and 6U provided on the input signal transmission line of the local oscillation circuit 8U, band-pass filters 3V, 5V and 6V provided on the input signal transmission line of the local oscillation circuit 8V, a memory 12 storing requirements for sustaining specific characteristics of an IF signal IF_OUT in best state, and a microcomputer 13 for controlling a tuning voltage being supplied to the local oscillation circuit 8U and to each circuit of the band-pass filters 3U, 5U and 6U individually, and controlling a tuning voltage being supplied to the local oscillation circuit 8V and to each circuit of the band-pass filters 3V, 5V and 6V individually based on the requirements.
