摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make drive current flow small in a display element. <P>SOLUTION: In a writing period for each pixel PX, a first operation, in which keeping an output control switch SW4 open, a first control terminal of a drive control element DR1, a second control terminal of a drive control element DR2, a first output terminal of the drive control element DR1 and a video signal line DL are connected to each others and a current equivalent to the drive current to be flowed to the display element OLED is flowed to the video signal line DL by setting the potential of a scanning signal line SL1 to a first potential, and a second operation, in which the potential of the scanning signal line SL1 is changed from the first potential to a second potential, in a state of cutting each connection of the first and the second control terminals, the first output terminal and the video signal line DL, are performed sequentially.
