PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent movable lenses from being detached from a pressing member, even if it is moved carelessly. SOLUTION: A variable power finder device includes a plurality of movable lenses 3 and 5 moving in the direction of the optical axis of a finder in synchronism with zooming; and the pressing member 11 for pressing the movable lenses in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the finder, in order to prevent the movable lenses from vibrating in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the finder. The variable power finder device is provided with a movement amount regulating means 11g, disposed in a movement area between the movable lenses and used to regulate the amount of movement of each movable lens by abutting against the movable lens.
